Good day in Ehrwald

Cornelia & Felix

Conny's parents have hand over the vacation house to us in summer 2022. Since then we are renting it to our guests.

We live nearby Innsbruck with our three lovely sons Gustav, Theo and Willi. In our free time, we love to go hiking or skiing in the Tyrolean mountains, or surfing at the Atlantic coast.

Our house in Ehrwald is our second home away from home and it is a great hide-away from everyday-life - either for us alone or with our friends.

Our desire

We want you to feel „dahoam“ at our refuge and that you enjoy every single moment of your holidays.

We have renovated our holiday home with our own hands in many hours and now, we are happy that you’ll come and fill it up with life and laughter.

We are looking forward to meeting many kind people in a warm and respectful way.

We’re glad, that you’re here.

History of our vacation home

Conny's parents Barbara & Eckhard have inherit the house in 2017 from aunt Susi and they decided to renovate the apartments and to rent them.

Since the very beginning we have supported them to set up the website and to manage the requests and bookings.

In the meantime we had been in Ehrwald a lot and we fell in love with the tiny village, the central location and the stunning mountains around. Our children learnt to ski on the nearby Sonnenhang.

Therefore we decided to continue the rental and since summer 2022 we have been looking after our guests and hope that you will continue to feel as comfortable with us as before. Since we took over, it is now also possible for larger families to rent the entire house.

Start in Ehrwald - Hotel Daniela

The passion for tourism seems to have been laid in our cradle by Barbara's parents. Wilhelm & Angela Durstberger ran the Hotel Daniela (now Hotel Alpin) in Ehrwald at the beginning with their own café and restaurant.

The beginning Gasthof Goldenes Kreuz

The family originally comes from the Arlberg, where they ran the Gasthof Goldenes Kreuz with the famous Kreuzstüberl Bar in St. Anton for many years.

The 5 o'clock tea - the start of modern Après Ski - in the Kreustüberl was a real institution back then and attracted an illustrious clientele. Among others, even the Dutch royal family had been guests.

Since the lease was not renewed after it expired, the two decided to go into business for themselves and acquired the hotel in Ehrwald
